Can people comment on how well this copies VHS tapes to DVD? There is not much info about that in the reviews (one okay and one thumbs down), and that is what I’m considering it for.

I bought this without realizing that in order to make it work with my tv and Comcast cable, I’d need a special converter box to make it work. I sent it back.

…the directions for set-up were confusing and did not correspond to the hook-ups on my TV which is 15 years old. Too bad because I really thought I was getting a great unit.

I wish Amazon would not use UPS, they always leave my stuff next to the street and say they put it on my porch.
Secondly, this DVD/VHS recorder arrived brand new, but totally non-functional with a dvd door unable to open. Customer service was nice, but suggested I send it back to Toshiba and pay to have it serviced. So I sent it back to Amazon.
