Dish Network 21.0 IR UHF Pro TV2 DVR Learning Remote Control

These remotes are great. They don’t feel cheap and have some weight to them. For $10 this was a great buy.

Same as Dish sells but for less money. When ever I wanted the remote it was always someplace else. I bought a second one just to have it next to my chair.

Remote works well. Learning remote easily duplicates features of a TV remote that did not have a corresponding code to enter into a different model Dish remote. I had some difficulty making my Dish DVR recognize the UHF Pro, but that was more a problem with the way the DVR instructions were written rather than any problem with the remote. Relocating the DVR UHF antenna to the room with the remote TV will improve overall reliability and response.

I had all but given up hope for getting my Dish remote to work with my Apex LD3249 TV when I finaly stumbled upon this little beauty. It came with absolutely no instructions but Dish had them on their website so in a few minutes I had this remote up and running my quirky little TV. I can’t recommend this enough for people who can’t program their existing Dish remotes to their TV, DVD player, or Amplifier. Oh and that’s another plus. This remote actually has a DVD mode on it instead of that stupid VCR button which most people are certainly moving away from by now.
